There are several options on how you can support us.
Which membership is right for me?
Private Membership
Choose this option if you want to join MDKU personally and contribute as an individual expert. Your membership is personal and does not represent your employer or company.
Company Membership
Choose this option if your company or organisation should become an MDKU member. Member organisations may nominate up to three representatives to actively participate in MDKU activities and Working Groups. Each member organisation has one vote, regardless of the number of representatives.
Self-employed or consultant?
You can choose either option: join personally as a Private Member, or register your consultancy/business as a Company Member if the organisation itself should be an MDKU member and communicate its membership accordingly.

Company size classification
Company membership fees are based on the EU SME classification. Company size is determined according to the European Commission’s SME definition (Recommendation 2003/361/EC), based on staff headcount and financial thresholds.

All MDKU memberships are subject to an annual membership fee. As a non-profit association, membership fees help us fund our ongoing work as well as the organisational and administrative activities required to run the association.
Participation in Working Groups
Members can actively contribute to MDKU Working Groups based on their professional expertise and experience relevant to the respective topic. As our Working Groups develop concrete technical and regulatory results, we aim to ensure an appropriate level of expertise and quality within each group.
